For those of you that have been around the past few years, you know who the Windy City Kids are, but if you're new to CP, these are Cairns that come from a very old and honored breeding line of a prestigious breeder who has been forced to reduce her kennel due to age and illness.

Greek mythology tells of the white-robed Moirae (the Three Fates). They were the personification of destiny and controlled the metaphorical thread of life of every mortal and immortal from birth to death (and beyond).

Cairns that survive the neglect and abuse of life in a puppymill must truly have many different Angels watching over them. Without the Angels, they would surely perish in a puppymill before ever having the opportunity to experience freedom and love and most importantly becoming someone's "Little Angel" themselves.

Arriving from a puppymill known to CP, the Freedom Fliers IV have come in out of the cold to the warm and loving arms of CP. It seemed only appropriate they have warm, tropical names!

About two years ago CP volunteers went to pick-up a lone male Cairn from a breeding facility where row after row of cages filled with dogs were sitting under the shade of trees and positioned so they would all drain down a hill -- forming a river of excrement ...

CP will be bringing in the remaining 20+ Cairns from this facility over the next couple of months, stopping the flow from this one "river" forever. Please, we need help, financial and fostering, to help rescue these beautiful little dogs.

Two competitive and willful brothers have come to CP and will soon be little angels ready for new homes!

These beautiful girls are mother and daughter plus best buddies. They've come to CP to look for their new homes. Wouldn't it be wonderful to keep them together?

Last month, we got the first of the kids from a Missouri commercial breeding facility. Now look who we have!

Three little Cairns made their way into the loving arms of Col. Potter. This would not have been possible without the generous donations that help support the work CP does in rescuing Cairns. One very important program that supports our efforts is our Name a PM Kid Program. All three of these cairns now proudly bear donated names.

Chewy and Bacca are brothers who have come to CP to find a new home where they will receive all the attention they deserve.

When you think of Regal Ladies, those that have had a title bestowed on them, you think of privilege, class, wealth and honor. They have led a life of having things done for them, living in opulence with good food and all the comforts they could ever want. CP's Regal Ladies' lives couldn't be farther from the above scenario!

That all changed yesterday when they found Col. Potter! They will now become Regal Ladies who will want for nothing. Their lives will now include comfort, quality food and water and plenty of it. They will be enveloped with medical care, learning about freedom and all it has to offer and most important -- love!
