Binding will be in Dark Green, Sashing in a beige, green, blue patterned fabric. The backing was a special surprise for Mary - it was the pagoda print to the left - Enrique and Mary met in Chinatown, Chicago. Individual Quilt squares are shown below.

A note from Mary:
I have just come home from Enrique's funeral and I am feeling lost so I logged to see what was going on. What a joy to find this special message from you. Enrique's favorite color is green. My favorite color is blue. The funeral was lovely the CTA (bus company he worked for) provided two buses so his fellow employees could come to the funeral and wake. We had a very long procession to the cemetery. Right now I am still numb and not sure which end is up. There is just so much to do and I am far to young to be a widow. I don't really know what to do with myself. Thank everyone for thinking of me.
