Hugs to Carol

Carol Loeb is one of the founders of Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network. Over the years her untiring work has touched many of the over 1500 cairns we have helped. She is known by many as a first contact with them during the adoption process - to many of us she's just Sister Bubbles.. as well as the maker of many of the soft fleece blankets that are given to our foster cairns.

Carol was recently diagnosed with endometrial adenocarcinoma and will need to undergo chemo to get her well again. As her friends, we felt that a heart quilt could help her feel our hugs.

Since I'm back on the BOD of CPCRN, I guess I need to put a disclaimer in. This is a heart project by Carol's friends for her. It is a hug from all of us. It is NOT CPCRN 'the rescue' giving her a quilt. If you want to be a part of this very personal project... go get some fabric... and be sure to mail the completed block by the due date. In addition, non CPCRN friends and family of Carol are more than welcome to join us in this quilt. As usual, we will be putting the squares online so everyone can see them. Once the quilt is done, we will also post its picture.
