Feb 2009- Joellyn Key was a perfectly healthy woman until a trip out of the country in November of last year. Upon her return, she got sick, was treated with antibiotics, but didn't really get well. In January, she was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre' Syndrome - We decided to make her a quilt to let her know she is in our hearts and to give her a hug. | Dec 2008 - Mary Lou Shobe was walking Toto and was hit by a hit and run driver and needed to be airlifted to the hospital. She was hurt very badly. Toto had his pelvis broken but will be ok. We wanted to make her a quilt to help her recovery, but sadly she died of her injuries. We will be sending her quilt and a matching one for Toto to her family. Danielle Rackstraw is one of the founders of CPCRN and she's had a rough few years. We decided to make her a quilt to thank her for all she's done for CPCRN and partly because we wanted to surprise her with our thanks. | Carol Loeb is one of the founders of Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network. Carol was recently diagnosed with endometrial adenocarcinoma and will need to undergo chemo to get her well again. | Angel Quilt February 2005 This quilt travels to Craps and Poops to let all the members see what the quilts are like. It is a wonderful one. It was made in memory of Timber and Loretta and includes pictures of all Cairn Foster Angels.
