Pi, the Welshie The Pi Quilt

Once upon a time I was owned by a Welsh Terrier named Pi. I made her a Pi-sized quilt from leftover quilt blocks. She took it everywhere with her -- to hospital, on sleep-overs, and finally, on one heart-breaking day, to her new home.

Inspired by Pi's quilt, I began making small quilts for the foster dogs of Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network (CPCRN) so they would have something to remind them of those who loved them when they went to their new forever homes.

Now Pi Quilts are available for everyone with all proceeds to benefit CPCRN. Each quilt is unique in its color scheme and/or theme.

Each one is machine stitched and hand "frayed" to produce ragged edges that will soften the more they are washed. And they are reversible -- often with a similarly colored but different color scheme on the reverse!

The materials are 100% cotton and the batting is either 100% cotton or a cotton/polyester blend. They have had an initial washing and drying. Please remember to empty your lint traps after each washing and drying as these "raggy" quilts often will continue to fray for several washings.

Thank you very much for supporting CPCRN by trying for a Pi Quilt.
I firmly believe every dog needs a Pi-sized quilt of their very own.

Oh, and don't forget, kids and kitties like them too!

With gratitude,
Pi's former Mom (Susan)
