Your choice of one week, on a space available basis, at a private condo at Islander on the Beach in Kapaa', Kauai located on the Coconut Coast.
It's a studio unit with queen bed and sofa sleeper (full size), compact kitchen, and dining area. This prize is for 1 week beginning and ending on a Saturday. Major holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas) will not be available as these are already booked up, as are the months of December, February, March and April. There MAY be other weeks that may be booked at this time also. The donor will work with the winner on making reservations.
Reservations must be made by 11/30/11 for use by 11/1/12, otherwise the prize is forfeit. Once made, reservations may not be changed.
Winner is responsible for adhering to all published location rules including NO PETS ALLOWED in any location, even kept in a vehicle. Winner will be responsible for any damage costs assessed. Prize is use of condo only; it does not include transportation or other expenses.

The thickness of the paper is wonderful. It's very very thick with a slight gloss, and more of a cream color. Simply lovely.

This beautifully done really large bowlby Heather will serve many uses. Those of us that have this size bowl use them for clams and corn on the cob and as the “bone bowl” for wings on Super Bowl Sunday. It is a whopping 12 ½” in diameter and 5” high. It holds 16 cups! As are all of Heather’s pieces, it is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe. Heather has painted this piece exclusively for us and we only have one. It is done in a rich warm eggplant color with a very happy Cairn scene inside and paws on the outside. Even the sun has a smile on its face. The light wheaten Cairns are enjoying a day outside. Hand Made Cairn Terrier Dog Weathervane
This CAIRN TERRIER weathervane is constructed of multiple gauge metals and painted with a powder coat paint finish.
Powder coating gives the weathervane a copper look, and helps to prevent rust.
This weathervane also features high quality ball bearing windcups that will move very fast and smooth in the wind.
Cairn figure is 11 inches high, wind arrow 21 inches long and stake height is 55 inches.
The weathervane comes with the garden mount, which is made of a solid 1/2" rod.

Neil Harris Crystal Cairn
This IS NOT A MOLD. Master Sculptor Neil Harris sculpts each one individually; each is SIGNED and DATED on the base. Neil has worked in the field of glass and crystal in England for over 25 years, first as a glass decorator/engraver. Neil's most notable achievement is his wildlife and dog sculpture work. Currently Neil is the only artist in the U.K.(and, we believe, anywhere!) who can produce accurate, individually sculpted dog models in a flame from solid rods of glass. These models are then mounted on a plinth of hand cut lead crystal. These plinth bases are from Stourbridge, the heart of the lead crystal industry, and are at least 30% lead for the highest refraction, clarity and brilliance. Stourbridge is famous throughout the world for its cut crystal and "Cameo" ware. Limited by this very detailed process to production of 2 sculptures per day, these true to life designs are instant collectibles. |

Welcome to the FALL 2011 ANLOL featuring some of Col. Potter’s Cairns in foster care – the GOLDEN OLDIES – or- formally known as SENIOR CAIRNS. Those of us that have the pleasure to be involved with these little ones know for certain, that a Cairn’s true motto is "I may grow old, but I WILL NEVER grow up!"
Now here is the face of youth – what a great guy Bucky is at 8 years young. He was born on August 30, 2002 in a commercial breeding facility – spending that entire portion of his life in a 2’X2’ cage. When people meet and see him, their first word is "adorable!" But sadly, Bucky is one of those guys that get passed over when folks are looking to add a family member to their home. He’s been in foster care since February of this year. He thinks that is unacceptable, as do we, because there is no reason to pass him over – LOOK AT THAT FACE!
There are many "of age" Cairns on our web site that get overlooked every single time someone comes to find a companion – won’t you step up to give them their very own forever home and family? Check out all the dogs on our available Cairns page – and look into those eyes and call them "too old to adopt". I think you will find it very hard to speak those words. 
Even though all the dogs we’ve profiled here are beautiful little beings, on the outside as well as the inside, we cannot forget the condition they may have been in when they came into Col. Potter. Nothing epitomizes the suffering like our wonderful girl Sarut. Remember how she looked when she came to us? Well her life has completely turned around now because of YOUR HELP in supporting our fundraisers – the life and true beauty she has today in her forever home.
