2006 Halloween & Christmas Contest!

Attention all ghost, goblins, and Christmas cuties! Want to be a model? We are having a Halloween & Christmas photo contest. So, put on your scariest, funniest, most creative Halloween get-ups on and be a part of this hauntingly fun time. And don't forget your snowman or reindeer outfits for the Christmas photos.

CONTEST RULES

  • Dogs must be in a costume. No graphically created costumes - all costumes must be worn by the dogs. Be creative!
  • Any Cairn or Cairn Mix may be entered, BUT the person sending the picture must have the copyright rights to it.
  • NO PEOPLE may be in the pictures.
  • NO previously submitted Halloween photo contest pictures allowed.
  • Non Cairn dogs may submit photos, but will be judged separately from cairns.
  • CPCRN reserves the right to edit any received pictures, including non-cairns, for placement on Cafe Press for fundraising.

SUBMISSION OF PHOTO IS ALSO AN AGREEMENT FOR CPCRN TO USE PHOTO IN ANY FUNDRAISING CAPACITY
This will allow us to use your picture on CafePress, Written in Stone, Cairn Terrier Times, handmade cards and perhaps other fundraising efforts. Please send the highest resolution possible, pictures will be fixed for the website. Photos of current fosters may also be put on the Available Dogs pages.

Email your doggie dress-up pictures direct to mailto:CelebrateCPCRN@yahoogroups.com?subject=Halloween Contest. This will keep from clogging the CairnRescueMentoring (CRM) site. Please identify the dog and the costume (if needed).

CONTEST DETAILS

  • Pictures must be received by Friday Nov 10 9:00 pm EST.Pictures must be received by Monday Oct 23rd 9:00 pm EDT.
  • Persons may submit pictures for both Halloween & Christmas.
  • Members of CRM will vote in a polls for their favorite Halloween pictures and their favorite Christmas pictures. Dog winning the most votes will have their picture on CafePress. CRM voters will only be able to vote for ONE dog per category.
  • Voting will take place starting Tuesday Nov 14th and end Friday Nov 17th at 9:00 pm EST. Voting will take place starting Tuesday Oct 24th and end Monday Oct 30th at 9:00 pm EDT.
  • Winners will be announced on CRM sometime on Halloween Day.

All winners (in order of total votes) will get their choice of a quilt or blanket under $55 from the CPCRN Beds store.
