Cairn Rescue Mentoring (CRM)is a national Cairn Terrier dog rescue group, directly affiliated with COL. POTTER CAIRN RESCUE NETWORK (CPCRN). CRM is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 Corporation founded October 8, 2000 by Danielle Rackstraw, who also founded CPCRN. CRM members are a friendly group of volunteers working through CPCRN to help Cairn terriers in need. Although the group numbers well over 500 members now, new members are dearly needed and appreciated. Their goal is to help Cairns in need. You are qualified to join if you have a love of animals and Cairns.
There are many volunteer opportunities, such as fostering, on-line website shelter searches, or education. Creative people are needed with our fundraising efforts [http://mall.cairnrescue.com]. Transport help, Safety Home Check volunteers, Application Reference verification, and Website Development are a few examples. Even if you have only a very limited amount of time, CRM can find a place for you to help.
If you are interested in becoming a member of Cairn Rescue mentoring, you will need to join Yahoo Groups if you haven't already done so. Simply direct your web browser to http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/CairnRescueMentoring and follow the instructions to apply for membership in the group. Upon applying for membership in CRM, you will be asked to submit, by email, a brief bio to the list owner, CairnRescueMentoring-owner@yahoogroups.com. Your membership will not be approved until your bio has been received and reviewed.
Please note that all who wish to volunteer with Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network are welcome to join. If you ONLY wish to adopt a Cairn, please visit the CPCRN website at http://www.cairnrescue.com to fill out an application and see our available rescues. For your general Cairn Terrier questions, CPCRN proudly recommends your joining the Cairn-List also: cairn-list-subscribe@yahoogroups.com .
