The Rules!!!!

This month's contest is not your usual MULTIPLE GUESS test.... we haven't supplied ANY answers - we are letting you figure them ALL out yourself! Its a Treasure Hunt!!!

All answers can be found on the Faces of Rescue pages for 2004, Jan to June 2005 or July to December 2005 OR pages that are 'pop-ups' from these three links. Read the questions VERY CAREFULLY. We are looking for specific answers. For example, if you answer with a number when you are supposed to give a name (or vice versa), you'll lose points.

Scoring - 1 point for each correct answer, questions with multiple answers will be worth multiple points. (i.e. For a question "Name the Flintstones?" - the complete answer would be Fred, Wilma and Pebbles and would be worth 3 points - If you only said Fred and Wilma, you would only receive 2 points) All entries must dated January 15 to January 21. Winners will be announced on January 22.

Winners - will be determined by number of points. The top 5 point totals will be declared winners. First Prize is a set of Mo's Marvelous Cards ( 8 cards, 4.5 x 5.5 with envelopes - each sealed in a individual cellophane bag - lovingly crafted by a CP dog fanatic) and will be awarded to the highest point count. Second prize is a a Cairn Pottery Jar (coloring may vary in actual prize) The last three winners will be awarded groupings of dog toys. The best prize is won by all - increased knowledge about the cairns we've helped over the years.

Tie Breaker - if two people have identical scores, we will re-score them by subtracting a point for each incorrect answer. If the scores are still identical, the person whose entry was received first will win.

Leave it up in the background and fill in as you go! Once you are ready, just submit it.

And away we go:

This dog was pulled from a kill shelter in Franklin TN. He was to be put down for kennel cough. The shelter thought he was about 6 years old but the vet CP took him to felt he was at older, 10 or 12 years old. He weighed 12 pounds and his teeth were bad. He had a mass on his chest and had Sick Sinus Syndrome (a heart condition). His blood work showed early signs of kidney failure and anemia. His white blood cell count was double what it should be.

Col Potter rescued him and gave more than just care, we gave him hope. He was adopted by a family in Pensacola FL. Give his name and the month/year he was rescued.

Correct Answer: Braveheart June 2004
Value: 2 (Almost everybody got this right, one person had the year as 02 instead of 04)
